Eclipse IDE for Software Developers

Goals

Eclipse is the leading open-source Java development environment. The MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench consists of many extensions to Eclipse which assist developers with Enterprise scale development and deployment. This workshop represents an intense 2 days of detailed coverage of advanced techniques to be applied within the Eclipse IDE to improve the quality of code while improving developer productivity. This 2 day workshop will help developers quickly get to a level of proficiency and expertise that would otherwise take months to achieve. Class participants should expect to:
  • Understand the Eclipse IDE and its relationship to the Eclipse Platform
  • Discover best practices for working with projects and version control in the IDE
  • Become far more productive by learning how to master Eclipse's capabilities
  • Learn to develop J2EE applications more easily with MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench
