History & Future
History:
Since 1993 OCI has been providing educational services and advanced software training in the U.S. and around the world to corporations and universities. We offer over 50 well-focused workshops covering all major aspects of Object-Oriented technology, Distributed Computing, and Middleware. Our complete range of classes is designed to accommodate the needs of developers at all skill levels. We offer course paths appropriate for the developer who may be "new" to OO programming as well as the seasoned OO developer engaged in advanced distributed systems.
We have found, through many years of experience, that a curriculum-based, comprehensive and pragmatic approach proves to be the most effective method to OO training, mentoring and consulting. It is essential that a training program address the needs of the professional software development community. Our courses utilize real-world examples and lab exercises to reinforce the student's comprehension of the technology. More importantly, this strengthens the ability of the engineer to successfully implement the technology in future applications.
Our course offerings include a variety of subjects in:
- Object Oriented Software Engineering
- C/C++
- Java
- XML
- Distributed Computing (CORBA, ACE, TAO)
- Unix/Linux
- Wireless Enterprise
- .NET/C#
Future:
OCI strives to provide the most updated and sought after Educational Training. We proactively listen to and watch the IT market for indications of new and improved emerging technologies.
Our Curriculum Planning and Steering Committee, and our instructors, regularly review and update our course materials. This ensures that the most current technology is delivered, even for that "just-in-time" requirement! New courses and curricula are routinely recommended and developed to offer the most up-to-date course selection.
